I am a PhD student in Applied Physics at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) working under Professor Harry Atwater. Prior to Caltech, I graduated from MIT with an S.B. in Physics and Electrical Engineering and M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering. My research interests span various topics in nanophotonics and optoelectronics, including tunable light matter interactions in two-dimensional materials, quantum nanophotonics, active metasurfaces, and topological photonics.Â

Outside of lab, I am also passionate about various advocacy, mentorship, teaching, and outreach initiatives. I currently serve as one of the two graduate student representatives to the Caltech Board of Trustees and was previously the co-president/co-chair of the Caltech Graduate Student Council and a Residential Associate (RA) for the Caltech undergraduate community. In my free time, I enjoy dancing, pilates, and poker.
